I have just returned from Spain after a fantastic weekend photographing the wedding of Lisa and Peter. With Peter's parents now ex-pats living in the Costa Del Sol the couple decided to get married in their home town of Mijas.
Situated in the mountains a short drive from Malaga and a long way from South Wales! Mijas is a true traditional spanish village with fantastic picture opportunities for any keen photographer.
The stunning church was carved out of the rock in the 16th century and is something of a wedding photographers dream to photograph. Once the church was filled with the guests being armed with my camera and lenses it became a true pleasure to snap away with the stunning backdrop of the Costa Del Sol and was a totally different experience from being a wedding photographer in cwmbran.
The wedding reception was held in a nearby restaurant with the first dance accompanied by traditional spanish guitar and treated to a display by the village's own Flamenco dancers.
All in all it was a pleasure to be asked to be photographer at such a special event in probably the best wedding venue I have ever attended. I hope Lisa and Peter will be happy with the album and photobook from such a memorable weekend in Spain.
